Challenged to produce a multi-page document using Adobe InDesign, I chose to develop a marketing campaign that involved civic and social responsibility. This project involved increasing awareness around the power of spending money at locally owned small businesses. Through online and live marketing efforts, this campaign seeks to encourage individuals to shop, spend, and support locally owned businesses within their community.


This project presented a unique set of challenges for me, as it was the first project that involved such an extensive amount of pages. The challenge for me, from a design perspective, was to not bore viewers with a monotone design face.

There was also a challenge in ensuring that the right amount of information was communicated without overwhelming participants with too many boring facts. 


Upon completing this project, I found myself being more competent and comfortable using Adobe InDesign. Moreover, this project gave me the opportunity to synthesize my passion for social responsibility with my marketing skills.
